BELLY - 38 weeks

Imagine a watermelon tucked up into your shirt.
A watermelon that wiggles every now and then and makes you pee a lot.

Then imagine that within two to three weeks, that watermelon emerges (painlessly and beautifully) and becomes your first-born child.

That is what I'm thinking about in these photos. :-)

I realized it's been a while since I last shared some belly photos on here (official ones anyway). Here are some from today with our more crowded nursery and newly-organized closet (Thanks, Nicole!).

BELLY - Week 28

Hello my patient friends! You all must be getting as excited as we are, because the requests for belly photos have become overwhelming.

Now that the Buddha belly is taking over, I might start posting photos every two weeks, but we'll see...

For now, here's me and my Little Man at 28 weeks along.

I remember thinking that little Week 12 "bump" was a big deal... psh, that's nothing! I love, love LOVE my pregnant body. I've never been happier or felt prettier. :-)

Belly -- Week 16

Can you believe our little bun has been cooking in the Zook Oven for 16 weeks now (well more or less)?!

We'll continue updating belly pics about every 4 weeks or so, at least until we REALLY have a super-dooper bump later on down the line.

I think I forgot to mention in our 12 weeks entry that the photos are being taken in what will be Baby Z's nursery, so not only will you see our progression, but eventually, you will see how the baby's nook is changing, too (I'm technically standing in the crib space in these photos).

So, without further ado, here is Momma and Little Baby Z at 16 weeks along in our journey...

Belly -- Week 12

Our first belly pics! We are very brave indeed.

Lessons learned from this first round of focusing-on-stomach photos:
- Make sure you can't see your bra through your shirt. Very trashy.
- Maybe consider hair and make-up as an important part of one's day.
- Do NOT tell the photographer how to do his job. He's fine. He's amazing.
