'Wishes' series

I've got a brilliant idea.
Umm, OK, it's brilliant to me and that's about all that matters when you are the amazing Blog Creator.

Starting with this post, I'm going to every now and then write my "wishes" -- things I/we long to do with our child.

My first wish is for snow smiles.

I want to see Baby Z's reaction to the first snowflake hitting their puffy little cheek. I want to see a smile (or look of concern) when his or her little foot goes crunch, crunch in a pile of snow.

And, many years later, I can't wait to build snowmen and tunnels and igloos and paths all across the yard. When Baby Z is away from me, I will smile at those little footprints. When Baby Z comes inside from playing out in the snow, I want to welcome him or her into the house with hot chocolate, sitting down together talking about snow angels and other important things as we slurp our mini marshmallows.

That is my first wish. :-)
