From a Dad-to-be's perspective

So, I made a deal with Mama a few days ago that if she took a trip with me to Altoona to look at trucks, I would take her to dinner at Olive Garden (food -- the apparent way to a pregnant woman's heart) and also contribute to the blog within 2 weeks. So here I go.

From a to-be-Daddy's point of view, the pregnancy has been good so far. Mama had some problems early on with food aversions, but now Daddy has the problems.... can't keep enough food in the house. Everyday on my way home from work, I get text messages telling me that our child really would like a Cookies-N-Creme milkshake from Ritchey's. I'd hate for Wendy to be the only one drinking a milkshake from the place with the world's best ice cream, so I take one for the team.

Friday is our next doctor's appointment. We get to go in and hopefully listen to the heartbeat again, then schedule our next ultrasound. This will be an important one -- we'll know if we're having a little Scott or a little Wendy. I need this info for 2 reasons. First, I need to know what color I'm painting the room. Second, we like a lot of girl's names, but can't find a boys name that we like, so if our lil one is a boy, we've got a lot of homework to do.
