More info to come, I promise, but yes, our little man is here!
And he's not so little.
Weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring 22 inches long, Zachary Chad Zook came into the world via C-section at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 after 2.5 days of contractions and two false alarm trips to the hospital.
Our family was at the hospital until Wednesday night and we had a terrific first day at home today.
I couldn't have gone through this experience as well as I did without my fantastic coach and husband, who kept me going at tough times and super-reminded me of love during the fantastic times. I'm the luckiest girl alive to have had him with me through this experience.
And thank you to everyone who sent cards or gifts; made a phone call or visit or sent a text wishing us well. Every ounce of support was felt and appreciated.
Welcome, Zack! You are so loved.
